Opening of the Luxembourg Pavilion travelling exhibition in Virtual Reality
On 10 November 2021, Marc Hansen, Minister Delegate for Digitalisation, opened the travelling exhibition presenting the Luxembourg Pavilion in Dubai in virtual reality. The inauguration took place at the Lëtzebuerg City Museum, in the presence of Lydie Polfer, Mayor of Luxembourg City, and Marc Scheer, Secretary-General of GIE Luxembourg@Expo 2020 Dubai.
The virtual reality presentation of the Luxembourg pavilion in Dubai is an entertaining and free way for everyone to participate in the 2020 World Expo without having to travel to Dubai. The Minister Delegate for Digitalisation stressed that this project of the Ministry of Digitalisation contributes to the digital inclusion of all citizens by allowing them to benefit from the advantages of new technologies.

The Ministry of Digitalisation’s project was coordinated in partnership with Luxembourg artists Karolina Markiewicz and Pascal Piron.
