Two Luxembourg-based digital companies Virtual Rangers and Artec 3D join forces with the Luxembourg Pavilion

The scenography of the Luxembourg Pavilion is designed to immerse visitors in an exciting, heart-pounding “Doki Doki – The Luxembourg Heartbeat” experience, captivating the senses and bringing the essence of the Grand Duchy to life.

This journey will be even further enhanced by the use of state-of-the-art AR, VR and 3D scanning technologies provided by two Luxembourg-based digital companies: Virtual Rangers and Artec 3D. The companies`expertise will create an immersive digital experience, allowing visitors to explore Luxembourg both on-site and remotely.

Virtual Rangers are creating a digital reproduction of the Luxembourg Pavilion, that allows people in Luxembourg and around the globe to explore it, even if they cannot travel to Osaka. This experience goes beyond a simple digital reproduction—it is designed to capture the emotions and sensations of the real pavilion, enabling people from around the world to engage with it as if they were truly there. It is accessible via the Website of the Luxembourg Pavilion (expopavilion.lu) and a mobile application.

Artec 3D, a pioneering developer and manufacturer of professional 3D scanners and software, is on a mission to digitise iconic historical and cultural sites across Luxembourg. The resulting digital twins (virtual models) will be featured at the Luxembourg Pavilion in Osaka, offering a global audience the chance to explore and appreciate Luxembourg’s heritage through immersive 3D visualization. Integrated into the pavilion’s AR experience, Artec 3D-created models will allow visitors to experience Luxembourg’s cultural treasures in an exciting way.
