Discover, Play, Create: A Week of Interactive Learning and Fun at the Luxembourg Pavilion (July 18 – 27)

Starting July 18, the Luxembourg Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka invites visitors of all ages to explore a unique week of interactive workshops—blending science, creativity, and culture. Organised in partnership with the University of Luxembourg, the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) and the University of Liège, as well as SCRIPT (Service de coordination de la recherche et de l’innovation pédagogiques et technologiques), an entity of Luxembourg`s Ministry of National Education, Childhood and Youth, the programme that runs until July 27 promises hands-on discovery and joyful exchange.

Ideal for families, as well as school classes or simply people who are ready to learn in a playful way and enjoy connecting with others.

Inside the Pavilion’s exhibition room “Péckvillchen” participants are invited to take part in „Traces“, a collaborative project developed by the universities of Luxembourg, Fribourg and Liège. Through immersive experiences like „Quadratis.app“, „Revolution“, and „Life Lines“, visitors are encouraged to stretch their imagination and dive into the beauty of mathematical universes—solving puzzles, generating patterns, and contributing to a living visual installation.

At the same time, SCRIPT invites to “Remix your Way through Luxembourg”, where game-like controllers inspired by Luxembourgish and Japanese characters are used to remix music and visuals. Hip-Hop, Dubstep, Rock – the participants choose their own beat along their own rules! Afterwards their creation will even be saved to share with friends.

Visitors can also test their knowledge about Luxembourg’s culture, food, language, and traditions in a fun, family-friendly quiz—completed with a selfie moment.

Curious minds, creative spirits, and culture lovers: this is a week for the whole family! A series of playful, free workshops where math meets art, education meets entertainment, and strangers can become friends, will make a visit to the Luxembourg Pavilion extra special.
